The hotel has a café bar and a very nice outdoor terrace (open in the summer). It's very easy to reach this hotel using the airport water bus (Orange line). There is a stop just outside the hotel (S. Angelo).

The Splendid Starhotels Collezione enjoys a picture-perfect, canal-side location in central Venice, surrounded by boutique shops and cafes. From here, it's less than 15 minutes' walk to St Mark's Square and less than 5 minutes to the famous Rialto Bridge. All en suite guest rooms have satellite TV, minibar, free WiFi in many rooms. Some rooms offer views of the canal. This great-value designer hotel has its own pier and a gourmet restaurant serving traditional Venetian food. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the airport water bus Orange line stop (Rialto).

If you fancy a bit of luxury in Venice, then the Hilton Molino Stucky is definitely one to consider. This 5-star hotel is located on the peaceful Giudecca Island, in a building which was once a flour mill. The rooftop pool & spa (the largest on the island) are some of the main highlights. Guest rooms & suites are elegantly decorated, each with flat screen TV, coffee maker, air conditioning, marble bathroom. Some rooms have views of the city or the canal. The Hilton has its own gym, stylish restaurant & rooftop bar with amazing views. Shuttle services to the city centre are provided, as well as connections to/from the airport.

One of the best-selling hotels in Cannaregio. The Eurostars Residenza is located in a quieter part in Venice, surrounded by local markets and shops, yet it is within 30 minutes' walk to Rialto Bridge. Housed in a former monastery, the guest rooms are elegantly furnished and feature modern comforts like minibar, satellite TV, air conditioning and free WiFi. Some rooms offer views of the San Alvise canal. We like the hotels's courtyard and garden. Breakfast buffet is included, and the onsite bar serves drinks all day.

Our favorite budget choice in Venice. The Generator is located on Giudecca Island, just south of the central districts. From here, Saint Mark Square can be seen from a distance, and it is just a 10-minute ride by water bus to reach the town centre. Housed in a historic 3-storey building, all guest rooms are large, bright and modern (as with other Generator hostels). Both private rooms and dorms are available and include free WiFi. The onsite restaurant and café bar has a nice lounge area with pool table. Buffet breakfast options include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. Excellent value for money. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the Airport Waterbus Blue Line - Zitelle stop.

Carnival Palace Hotel is conveniently located near Venice Santa Lucia railway station, the bus station (to the airport) and the cruise ship docks. It's also just a short walk to the water bus pier, from which can connect to Railto Bridge and St Mark's Square (or about 45 minutes' walk). All 67 elegantly designed guest rooms are non-smoking, soundproof and and feature very modern en suite bathrooms, TV's, minibars. Free WiFi in all areas. Breakfast is served every morning, and room service is available. We like the hotel's garden terrace (open in the summer).

Excellent value for money with fabulous views. The Palazzo Giovanelli hotel is located next to Grand Canal and within each reach of all the major sights, either on foot or by water bus. The classic-styled rooms are decorated with original paintings, Italian furniture and modern comforts such as flat screen satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, free WiFi. Located very slightly north of the San Polo district boundary, the airport water bus Orange line stop (S. Stae) is just steps from the hotel. You can also walk to the train and bus station - both less than 15 minutes' walk away.

The Palazzo Abadessa is set within a historical Venetian house, located on a very quiet street, just 10 minutes' walk from Railto Bridge and within easy reach of St Mark's Square and key attractions. The guest rooms are furnished with gorgeous period furniture, Venetian mirrors, silk wallpaper and very comfortable beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, WiFi and a minibar. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet in the breakfast room or the hotel's beautiful private garden. If arriving by water taxi, you can be dropped off at the hotel's own private dock next to the entrance. Helpful and friendly staff provide city maps and will point out the location of all the sights and help with restaurant reservations.

As central as it gets. The area around Hotel Bonvecchiati is filled with boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, set along narrow walkways on each side of a network of canals, and close to top tourist sights in Venice.
