I've visited this place on friday nights a couple of times & the ambiance is pretty mediocre. Most of the guys frequenting the place are already in relationships. I also found the crowd to be snooty & unfriendly.

Not surprise this place closed down!

If the regular crowd really spend big money on drinks and food, I don't see any reason for this place to close down. Posers dominate this place, looks like they don't have much to spend?

    WTF

Great looking venue but the upstairs bar staff are rude, refused to make cocktails and would take your order then run off and spend 20 mins chatting and serving the locals. Overall it's the only nice gay bar in KL - a shame the staff are not good.

    Frangipani - CLOSED

If you fancy a fun night out with friends, sipping on a sweet lychee martini and dancing to come cool beats, then this is one place to be. Classy yet not too pretentious, this dimly lit bar is a launchpad for many guys to a wilder weekend. Dine in the restaurant downstairs or nearby. After you party, a few stalls selling 'Lok-Lok' or boiled skewers appear outside. A perfect way to soak in the excessive alcohol and to sober up before you head home.
