Louisville Distilleries

Evan Williams Bourbon Experience is a downtown Louisville distillery on historic Whiskey Row and an official stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Guided tours cover the brand’s history and production process, followed by tastings in a speakeasy-style setting. There’s also a still on display, craft cocktails at On3, and a gift shop with exclusive bottles.

Old Forester Distilling Co. offers educational tours that follow the bourbon journey from fermentation and distillation to barrel-making and bottling. Visitors can see the on-site cooperage in action before finishing with a guided tasting. There’s also a retail space and George’s Bar for cocktails.

Michter’s Fort Nelson Distillery operates from a restored late-1800s building on West Main Street, just across the street from Louisville Slugger Museum in downtown Louisville. Tours explore its approach to producing small-batch American whiskeys, followed by guided tastings. The on-site Bar at Fort Nelson serves classic and seasonal cocktails.
